Hey friends; Jake organized a run (in Pammi's absence) on Saturday over Independence Pass to view the colors. We left Eagle and headed to the Pastime in Leadville where rain clouds loomed. After a beverage we headed up the hill where we met all of the weather elements, yes including snow. We stopped at the summit and took a few pictures and listened to the thunder roll and headed to Aspen for a fuel stop and then to Woody Creek for lunch. When we arrived in Glenwood Springs, it was time to shed a few layers and head to Docs for a beverage. Into the Glenwood Canyon it began to rain but we made it safe to our final destination The Brush Creek Saloon.
